Atlanta Discount Blinds installed 3 1/2 inch plantation shutters in the first floor of my home. I chose the ones that open from the side instead of the middle so the window would not look "too busy" with the panes. My Mother is absolutely thrilled with the blackout blinds in the bedroom. The only time light has bothered her was when we had the biggest full moon (which we won’t have again for another 25 years or something like that. She was telling the caregiver someone was shining a flashlight in her bedroom! I guess the eyes get super sensitive to light as you get close to 100. I called 3 different companies to come out and give estimates for my daughter and her husband's new house they had just built. Two of the estimates were very close in price but when Dave gave me Atlanta Discount Blinds price it was so much less that it almost scared me that they would not be as good of quality. But after checking it all out thoroughly I could see that Dave's blinds were as good or even better than the others.
